We’re excited to guide you through your Parent/Teacher Account. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Set Up Your Parent Profile
Complete your Parent Profile to ensure accurate reporting, transcripts, certificates, and diplomas are made.
Step 2: Connect Your Students
Connect your student accounts to your Parent/Teacher Account for easy management. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to “Add/Manage Students” within your account.
- Follow the instructions on the page to connect your students.
- Once linked, you’ll find your students’ information in the “MY STUDENTS” section on your account’s main screen.
Stay Informed with Reporting Information
Keep track of your students’ progress through reporting information. Our system displays data from July 1st to June 30th for each school year. This setup caters to both traditional and flexible homeschooling schedules. For year-round homeschooling, we recommend using July 1 to June 30 as your academic year timeframe. Regularly print or export this data to keep records up to date.
Plan with Our Calendar
Our academic calendar follows a standard school schedule, starting the day after Labor Day in the United States and ending in June. Access the Calendar to view curriculum dates, such as Day 1, Day 2, etc. If you follow our calendar, your students should use the “Today’s Assignments” page upon login. If you have your own schedule, direct them to the “Daily Assignments” page.
Understand Our Homeschool Policies
As a platform for independent homeschooling, you are the school. Familiarize yourself with your state’s homeschooling policies. View your states “Homeschool Laws” for guidance.
Managing Student Accounts
If you need to set up new student accounts or add more students, log out of your Parent/Teacher Account and sign up on our homepage. Use your parent email address for each student. Log into your students’ accounts to explore the curriculum and the Reporting section. Reach out to our team if you encounter issues or need help.
Explore Curriculum Scope & Sequence
For a detailed overview of each grade’s curriculum, including units, quizzes, and tests, check out the Curriculum Scope & Sequence. This will help with planning and enhancing your homeschooling experience.
Weekly Spelling Lists
Access weekly spelling lists to support your students in their spelling quizzes. If audio is an issue, the spelling lists can help you pronounce each word.
Quiz / Test Answer Keys
Find quiz and test answer keys under “Quiz / Test Answers.” This resource will assist you in evaluating your students’ progress.
Certificates & Diplomas
Celebrate achievements by issuing Certificates of Completion and High School Diplomas through the “Certificates & Diplomas” section. Follow the provided instructions on that page.
Adjusting Grade Levels
To update grade levels, go to “MY STUDENTS” then click on “Edit Student” next to your student’s name on the main screen. Update the grade level in the dropdown field.
Don’t forget to change the grade level inside each student’s account under the Help menu.
