Study the instructions above. Solve the problems below by creating a table and using addition.

  1. To make salad dressing, you need 4 parts of olive oil for every 1 part of vinegar. If you have 8 parts of olive oil, how many parts of vinegar do you need?
  2. To make pancakes, you need 1 cup of milk for every two cups of pancake mix. If you have 3 cups of milk, how many cups of pancake mix do you need?
  3. You need 12 eggs to make scrambled eggs for every 6 people, if there are 18 people, how many eggs do yo need?
  4. You’re making cookies for a party. The recipe calls for 1 bag of chocolate chips, 2 sticks of butter, 2 eggs, 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 3/4 cup of sugar, and 3/4 cup of brown sugar? You need to scale the recipe up 3 times to have enough cookies. List the amount of ingredients you will need.
